Snapshot : Can We Love Korean Drama 2014

Funny and interesting story line! I did not expect to finish first episode at first but I am hooked up and now I already finish episode 4. Just waiting the subtitle for the next episode. Can We Love have a great cast, likeable character (some is annoying!) and good main plot.

Synopsis Can We Love Korean Drama 2014

A drama about love lives and careers of three women, who are in their late thirties, living their lives as divorced woman, a spinster, and a full-time housewife. Jung Wan (Eugene) is bubbly and forthright woman who divorces after ten years of marriage and moves in with her son to her mother’s house. She will get involved with Oh Kyung Soo (Uhm Tae Woong), a bad tempered, self conceited but a skilled film director who has received several awards and Ahn Do Young (Kim Sung Soo), the CEO of a film company. Meanwhile, Jung Wan’s friends; Sun Mi (Kim Yoo Mi) is a happily single “gold miss” and Ji Hyun (Choi Jung Yoon) is a longtime housewife and mother of her teenage daughter and young son.

Start of relationship between Jung Wan and Director Oh is as cliche as any korean drama involving misunderstanding situation and bad drinking problem. The cast and character however make it is believable and smoothly find it's way to build their knowledge about each other.

Additional attraction of Sun Mi towards Director Oh giving the love triangle moment between both involve at some point in the drama. The lose love between Ji Hyun and President Ahn Do Young (play by Kim Sung Soo) is something I enjoyed to discover the truth behind all the lies.

Although some of the additional plot is ridiculous and annoying, Sera and her teenage problem (drinking and now pregnant!) I don't get the hate she has for her own mother, Ji Hyun. Why she hate her mother? Did they told us why exactly? The in law situation is better angle but also annoying to me.

The age thing between Sun Mi and Choi Yoon Suk (play by Park Min Woo). I am okay with it, just not a fan. It too large different (10 years) between these two and it's weird to watch - it did not help when Park Min Woo did not look too mature for his character. Although in this drama, Sun Mi do not want to involve with Choi Yoon Suk, her attraction toward Director Oh is better angle to be looking forward as her best friend relationship with Jung Wan.
